Job Title: Academic Program Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Program Manager to join our team. As an Academic Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of our academic programs. You will work closely with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to ensure the success of our academic programs and the continuous improvement of our educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic programs in accordance with the institution's vision and mission.
• Collaborate with faculty and other stakeholders to design and update curriculum, course materials, and assessment strategies.
• Plan and coordinate course schedules, faculty assignments, and student enrollment to ensure the smooth functioning of academic programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of academic programs, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with industry and community organizations to enhance the learning experience and provide opportunities for students.
• Manage budgets and resources to support the delivery of academic programs.
• Supervise and support faculty, staff, and students involved in academic programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to academic programs.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to academic programs.
• Plan and execute marketing and recruitment strategies to attract and retain students for academic programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of academic programs with other institutional activities.
• Represent the institution at academic conferences, seminars, and other events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students and promote diversity and cultural competency within academic programs.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program management or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design, assessment, and program evaluation.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to ethical and inclusive practices.
• Knowledge of current trends and issues in higher education.
