Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data storage solutions that meet those requirements
Develop and maintain data storage architecture, including data modeling, data integration, and data security
Design and implement data storage solutions that are scalable and can handle large volumes of data
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with data storage systems, ensuring maximum uptime and availability
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data storage technology, and make recommendations for improvement
Conduct performance tuning and optimization for data storage systems to ensure optimal performance
Develop and maintain documentation for data storage systems, including technical specifications and user guides
Collaborate with other developers to integrate data storage solutions into larger software systems
Conduct testing and debugging of data storage solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code is delivered
Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users as needed
Continuously monitor and analyze data storage systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing data storage solutions
Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data security
Proficient in SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as Amazon S3 or Azure Blob Storage
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Hadoop, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly
