Position: Automation Robotics Technician

Overview: Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Robotics Technician to join our team. As an Automation Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our automated robotic systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain automated robotic systems, including hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and programming components.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and reliability of robotic systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to design and implement new automation solutions.
• Train and support production staff in the use and maintenance of robotic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and modifications made to robotic systems.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in automation technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in robotics, automation, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting automated robotic systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and programming principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience with robotic simulation software, such as RoboDK or RobotStudio.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and other automation components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
