Position: Airport Operations Manager

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Airport Operations Manager to join our team. As the Airport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at our airport, ensuring efficient and safe operations for both passengers and aircraft. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the airport, including terminal operations, airfield operations, ground handling, and security.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor and manage the airport budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling companies, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations and timely flight schedules.
• Manage a team of airport staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with local authorities, such as air traffic control and customs, to ensure compliance with all regulations and protocols.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including airlines, government agencies, and local communities.
• Respond to any emergencies or incidents that may occur at the airport and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices to continuously improve airport operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Thorough understanding of airport operations, including terminal and airfield management, ground handling, and safety and security procedures.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
• Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle competing priorities.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and be on-call for emergencies.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as FAA, TSA, and ICAO regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and airport management systems.
