Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of farm equipment, including tractors, combines, and other machinery. The Farm Equipment Operator will work closely with our farm managers and other team members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors, combines, and other machinery.
• Prepare the land for planting and harvesting by plowing, tilling, and spraying.
• Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops using appropriate machinery.
• Monitor the condition of crops and make recommendations for irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities, including time and equipment usage.
• Ensure the safe and responsible operation of all farm equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist with general farm duties, such as cleaning and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience operating farm equipment.
• Experience with a variety of farm equipment, including tractors, combines, and other machinery.
• Knowledge of agricultural practices and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends, especially during peak seasons.
• Passion for farming and the agricultural industry.
