Key Responsibilities:

Plan and host live radio shows, incorporating music, news, interviews, and other segments
Research and gather information on current events, trends, and topics to be discussed on air
Write and edit scripts for radio segments and ensure they align with the station's brand and values
Operate audio equipment, including sound boards, microphones, and recording devices
Monitor and adjust audio levels and quality during live broadcasts
Conduct interviews with guests, celebrities, and experts to provide insightful and entertaining content for listeners
Engage with listeners through on-air calls, social media, and other interactive platforms
Collaborate with the production team to create promotional materials and advertisements for the show
Attend events and represent the radio station, building relationships with listeners and potential sponsors
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the quality of the show

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Previous experience as a Radio Broadcaster or in a similar role
Strong on-air presence and excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to think on your feet and improvise when necessary
Proficient in operating audio equipment and editing software
Knowledge of current events, pop culture, and music trends
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Passion for connecting with and entertaining a diverse audience
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
