Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Furniture Sales Associate to join our team. As a Furniture Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our furniture department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about furniture and has a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture products
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers
• Ensure showroom is well-maintained and visually appealing at all times
• Meet or exceed sales goals by actively engaging in sales techniques such as cross-selling and upselling
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor information
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department and store goals
• Assist with merchandising and restocking of furniture products
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in furniture sales or a related field is preferred
• Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of current furniture trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
