Job Title: Senior AWS Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AWS Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the needs of our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our company's cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
• Ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry and company standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues with our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of our cloud infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and make recommendations for their integration into our cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, and CloudFront.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles in the cloud.
• Experience with designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans on AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
