Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research and Development Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new scientific methods and techniques to support our company's research and development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and experiments to develop new products or improve existing ones
• Design and implement scientific studies and experiments, including developing protocols, obtaining necessary materials and equipment, and coordinating with other team members
• Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field
• Analyze and interpret data using various statistical and computational methods to draw meaningful conclusions
• Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and product developers to share findings and develop solutions
• Write technical reports and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory
• Assist with the development and optimization of new laboratory techniques and procedures
• Participate in scientific conferences and workshops to stay current with industry trends and network with other professionals

Qualifications:

• PhD in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in research and development, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
• Proven track record of designing and executing successful scientific experiments
• Strong understanding of various laboratory techniques and equipment
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical software such as R, Python, or JMP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines
• Experience with project management and product development processes is a plus
