Position: Academic Success Coach

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Academic Success Coach. As an Academic Success Coach, you will play a crucial role in the academic success of our students. You will be responsible for providing academic coaching and support to students, helping them develop the skills and mindset necessary to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic coaching to students, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and developing personalized plans to help them reach their academic potential.
• Conduct regular check-ins with students to monitor their progress and provide support and guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and other support staff to ensure students receive the necessary resources and support to succeed academically.
• Help students develop time management, organization, and study skills to improve their academic performance.
• Assist students in setting realistic academic goals and create action plans to achieve them.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as note-taking, test-taking strategies, and stress management to help students improve their academic skills.
• Stay updated on academic policies, procedures, and resources to effectively support students.
• Utilize data and student feedback to continually improve coaching strategies and services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and serve as a resource for their academic and personal development.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Previous experience in academic advising, coaching, or counseling.
• Knowledge of academic support resources and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
• Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Proficient in using technology and learning management systems.
