Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to develop shipbuilding plans and specifications
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for shipbuilding projects
Select appropriate materials and equipment for ship construction
Monitor and manage the progress of shipbuilding projects to ensure they are completed within budget and on schedule
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the shipbuilding process
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide regular updates on project progress
Work closely with the project management team to develop and implement project schedules and budgets
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and provide guidance to construction teams
Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in shipbuilding technology
Train and mentor junior engineers and construction teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding, preferably with experience in managing large-scale projects
Strong knowledge of shipbuilding principles, techniques, and materials
Familiarity with shipbuilding regulations and safety standards
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
