Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand. As a Ranch Hand, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our ranch, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with animals and enjoys working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for livestock including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and behavior
• Assist with breeding, birthing, and raising of livestock
• Maintain clean and organized facilities, including barns, pastures, and equipment
• Operate and maintain farm equipment, such as tractors and mowers
• Repair and build fences, gates, and other structures as needed
• Keep accurate records of animal inventory, feed and supply usage, and any other necessary documentation
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of ranch buildings and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Work closely with other ranch hands and report any issues or concerns to the ranch manager
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working on a ranch or farm preferred
• Strong knowledge of animal care and handling techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment
• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and working in all weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
• Passion for working with animals and a willingness to learn new skills
