Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design medical equipment and devices, such as prosthetics, medical imaging devices, and surgical instruments, by applying principles of engineering, physics, and materials science.
Conduct research to solve clinical problems and improve medical equipment and devices.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to understand their needs and requirements for medical equipment and devices.
Test and evaluate prototypes of medical equipment and devices to ensure safety, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Analyze and interpret data from medical equipment and devices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, designs, and test plans.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology and industry trends to inform and guide design and development decisions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and medical professionals, to develop innovative solutions.
Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including management and clients.
Participate in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely and cost-effective production of medical equipment and devices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience in the field of biomedical engineering.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and their application in the medical field.
In-depth knowledge of medical technology, including medical imaging, prosthetics, and surgical instruments.
Proficiency in using design software, such as CAD and simulation tools.
Experience conducting research and testing on medical equipment and devices.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for medical equipment and devices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
