Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Program Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new programs and initiatives to support the growth and success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new programs and initiatives that align with the organization's mission and goals
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new program opportunities and assess the impact of existing programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and support for program development initiatives
• Create detailed project plans and timelines to ensure successful implementation of new programs
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners and funders
• Manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program development to inform decision-making and improve program outcomes
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on program progress, challenges, and successes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing new programs and initiatives
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Knowledge of program evaluation and data analysis techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Passion for making a positive impact in the community and promoting social change

Working Conditions: This is a Full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. However, occasional evening and weekend work may be required to attend community events and meetings. The Program Development Specialist will work primarily in an office setting, but may also be required to travel to various locations within the community.
