Job Title: Assistant Professor of Education

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and driven individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Education. This individual will play a key role in educating and shaping the minds of future educators, and will have the opportunity to conduct research and contribute to the field of education.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach courses in education, including curriculum design and implementation, lesson planning, and assessment methods
• Mentor and advise students, providing guidance and support for their academic and professional development
• Conduct research in the field of education, including publishing articles, presenting at conferences, and securing grants
• Participate in departmental and university committees, contributing to the overall growth and success of the institution
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and strategies
• Stay current with developments in the field of education and incorporate new findings into course curriculum
• Engage in community outreach and service activities, representing the university and promoting the importance of education

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Education or a related field is required
• Previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred
• A strong research background with a record of publications and presentations is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
