Job Description: Mail Connect Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mail Processing Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages, as well as processing outgoing mail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to designated areas or individuals
• Process outgoing mail by affixing postage and ensuring proper packaging
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail
• Handle special and confidential mail, ensuring proper handling and delivery
• Operate mail processing equipment such as postage meters, scales, and sorting machines
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and postage as needed
• Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a mailroom or administrative role
• Proficient in using mail processing equipment and software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages, up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of USPS regulations and procedures is a plus
