Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Safety and Compliance Officer to join our team. As the Safety and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company is compliant with all necessary safety regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and provide timely reports to management
• Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Investigate safety incidents and accidents and provide recommendations for preventing future occurrences
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make necessary adjustments to improve safety performance
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure that safety protocols are being followed and provide guidance on safety-related issues
• Stay updated on industry developments and changes in safety regulations to ensure company compliance
• Develop emergency response plans and procedures to prepare for any potential safety incidents
• Conduct safety meetings and communicate safety-related information to employees and management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety and compliance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train employees and collaborate with different departments
• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
• Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate safety incidents and accidents
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
