Instructional Coach

This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule that may require occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate training sessions and meetings. The Instructional Coach will primarily work in a school environment, but may also travel to different school sites within the organization. Job Title: Instructional Coach

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Coach to join our team. As an Instructional Coach, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to improve student achievement and enhance the overall instructional practices within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to provide effective coaching to teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and instructional materials.
• Observe and provide constructive feedback to teachers on their instructional practices.
• Analyze student data to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
• Provide professional development and training sessions to teachers on best practices in instruction.
• Work with school leaders to align instructional goals with school-wide goals.
• Participate in curriculum development and review to ensure alignment with state and national standards.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current trends in education to provide relevant and effective coaching to teachers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among teachers.
• Serve as a resource for teachers to address any instructional challenges they may encounter.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a classroom teacher.
• Experience as an instructional coach preferred.
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and best practices.
• Ability to analyze student data and develop action plans based on data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficient in technology and able to integrate technology into instructional practices.
• Passion for education and a commitment to improving student achievement.
