Position: Mineral Processing Manager

Job Description: As a Mineral Processing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the mineral processing operations within our company. You will be a key member of our team, working closely with other departments to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality minerals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the mineral processing department in line with company goals and objectives
• Manage and lead a team of mineral processing engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Coordinate with other departments such as exploration, geology, and environmental to ensure the timely and accurate supply of raw materials for processing
• Monitor and control production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime
• Develop and implement training programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge in mineral processing techniques
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for employees and provide feedback for their development and growth
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
• Prepare and manage the mineral processing budget, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mineral processing technology to improve overall efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral processing, with at least 3 years in a managerial position
• Strong knowledge of mineral processing principles, techniques, and equipment
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing mineral processing operations
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to mineral processing operations
• Proficient in using computer software and systems related to mineral processing
