Job Title: Commercial Driver

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license and a proven track record of safe and efficient driving. As a Commercial Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the safety of the cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic and safety laws and regulations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure packaging
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or damages to the appropriate supervisor
• Plan and follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery logs
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations
• Handle and report any accidents or incidents that may occur during transportation
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding commercial driving
• Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
