Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials to and from various locations
Work closely with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure proper stock levels are maintained
Manage and optimize the supply chain process to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other partners
Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving logistics processes and reducing costs
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Train and supervise junior logistics staff and provide guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed
