Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain data storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
Identify potential issues and provide proactive solutions to prevent system failures
Collaborate with IT team to plan and implement data storage system upgrades and migrations
Develop and maintain documentation for data storage systems, including standard operating procedures and policies
Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery exercises
Conduct regular audits to ensure data storage systems are compliant with company policies and regulations
Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues in a timely manner
Provide support to end-users on data storage related inquiries and issues
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data storage technology and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data storage system administration
Strong knowledge of data storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and cloud storage
Experience with data backup and disaster recovery solutions
Familiarity with data storage security and compliance standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Certifications in data storage systems (e.g. CompTIA Storage+, EMCISA) are a plus.
