Job Overview: As an Agricultural Research Technician, you will play a crucial role in our research and development efforts. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and analysis of various agricultural research projects. You will work closely with our team of scientists and researchers to collect and analyze data, maintain research equipment, and assist in the development of new agricultural methods and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of research projects, including field trials, laboratory experiments, and data analysis
• Collect and record accurate and detailed data from field experiments, including soil samples, plant growth measurements, and environmental conditions
• Operate and maintain research equipment, including irrigation systems, soil monitoring devices, and plant growth chambers
• Assist in the development of new agricultural methods and technologies, including testing and troubleshooting prototypes
• Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date on the latest research findings and industry trends
• Collaborate with team members on data analysis and report writing
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and research site
• Follow safety protocols and ensure the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural research or a related field
• Strong understanding of agricultural practices and techniques
• Experience with data collection and analysis
• Proficient in the use of research equipment and tools
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
