Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, and implementing control measures to optimize inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inventory counts to monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely receipt of inventory
• Oversee the movement of inventory within the warehouse, including transfers, returns, and disposals
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize errors and ensure accuracy
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other inventory-related metrics
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Participate in inventory planning and forecasting to ensure sufficient stock levels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve any inventory-related issues
• Train and educate warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
