Position: Private Equity Associate

Location: Tafuna, American Samoa

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify potential investment opportunities
• Evaluate potential investments by analyzing financial statements, conducting due diligence, and creating financial models
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for investment committee review
• Assist in negotiating and structuring deals, including conducting market analysis and identifying potential risks
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop investment strategies and drive decision-making processes
• Monitor and track current investments, providing ongoing analysis and updates
• Conduct market analysis and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
• Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities
• Mentor and train junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and other financial databases is a plus
• Strong work ethic and a team player mentality
