Position Title: Leasing Consultant

Overview: As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a key role in the success of our company by effectively leasing and marketing our properties to potential residents. You will be responsible for maintaining a high occupancy rate and ensuring that all leasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and customer service-oriented individual with excellent communication and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome prospective residents, providing them with information about the property and its amenities
• Conduct tours of the property and show model units to potential residents, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit
• Assist potential residents with the leasing process, including completing all necessary paperwork and conducting background and credit checks
• Respond to all phone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Follow up with potential residents to answer any questions and address any concerns they may have
• Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and resident interactions in our database
• Plan and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain residents, including hosting events and creating promotional materials
• Process lease renewals and handle move-in and move-out procedures
• Collaborate with property management team to ensure a smooth move-in experience for residents
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to make informed decisions about pricing and promotions
• Assist with the coordination of maintenance and repairs for vacant units to ensure they are ready for move-in

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or property management preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
