Job title: Data Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's data architecture. You will work closely with our IT team, data analysts, and business leaders to ensure that our data architecture meets the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data architecture strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs.
• Develop data models, data dictionaries, and data integration strategies.
• Create and maintain data standards and ensure data governance across the organization.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve data management and analytics capabilities.
• Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain data security and privacy protocols.
• Monitor and optimize data performance to ensure efficient and effective data storage and retrieval.
• Lead data architecture projects from conception to completion.
• Train and mentor team members on data architecture best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, data integration, and data governance principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Professional (CDP) or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), are a plus.
