About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resort Operations Director to join our team. As the Resort Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our resort's operations, including but not limited to guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall guest experience, increase revenue, and reduce costs
• Oversee the daily operations of all departments within the resort, including guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Ensure that all departments are operating efficiently and in accordance with company standards
• Create and maintain budgets for each department, and monitor expenses to ensure they stay within budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure the highest quality products and services are provided to guests
• Hire, train, and manage a team of department managers and staff to ensure a high level of service and productivity
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employees to help them reach their full potential
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new guests and retain existing guests
• Oversee the planning and execution of special events and activities to enhance the guest experience
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees
• Monitor and analyze guest feedback and make necessary changes to improve the overall guest experience
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations within the resort

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
