Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive trade compliance program to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
Review and approve all import and export documentation, including licenses, permits, and declarations.
Monitor and track changes in trade laws and regulations, and communicate any updates or changes to relevant departments.
Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on trade compliance policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trade compliance is integrated into all business processes.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all trade transactions, including licenses, permits, and declarations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all trade compliance inquiries and concerns.
Conduct investigations and prepare reports on any suspected or actual violations of trade laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and trade associations to stay informed on industry trends and changes in trade regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in international trade, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a global organization.
In-depth knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including but not limited to, export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations.
Experience in developing and implementing trade compliance programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in trade compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
