Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Development Chemist to join our dynamic team. As a Research and Development Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting research, developing new products, and improving existing products in our company's portfolio. This is a challenging role that requires a combination of technical and analytical skills, as well as a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct experiments to develop new products or improve existing ones
• Analyze and interpret data from experiments and present findings to the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, and sales to understand product needs and requirements
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the industry
• Use analytical techniques to identify and solve problems related to product development
• Develop and maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Write technical reports and present results to management and stakeholders
• Participate in product trials and make recommendations for improvements
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed
• Mentor and train junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in research and development within the chemical industry
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Experience with product development and testing
• Proficient in data analysis and presentation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Experience with project management is a plus
