About the Organization: Raise Hope Fund-Raising is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to Secret mission. Our organization has been making a positive impact in the community for over 5 and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Officer to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by overseeing all aspects of fundraising and grant writing. You will work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with donors and grant-making organizations, and secure funding to support our programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the organization's financial goals
• Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with potential donors and grant-making organizations
• Write compelling grant proposals and manage the grant application process
• Work with the communications team to create fundraising materials and campaigns
• Plan and execute fundraising events and donor cultivation activities
• Collaborate with program staff to identify funding needs and opportunities
• Monitor and track all fundraising activities and provide regular reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors
• Maintain accurate donor and grant records in the organization's database
• Stay current on fundraising trends and best practices to continually improve fundraising efforts
• Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our mission and fundraising initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Non-profit Management, Fundraising, Communications)
• Minimum of 5 of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a related field
• Proven track record of success in securing grants and donations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship building and networking abilities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor database software
• Passion for the organization's mission and a strong commitment to making a difference in the community
