Job Title: Extrusion Operator

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating extrusion machinery and a keen eye for quality control. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating extrusion equipment to produce plastic and rubber products according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of raw materials and finished products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with equipment or production processes.
• Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Train new team members on extrusion processes and procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating extrusion machinery.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
