Position: Data Platform Consultant

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Platform Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Data Platform Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data platforms for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide innovative solutions to optimize data management and analytics processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data management, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and design data platforms to meet their needs
• Develop and implement data management strategies, including data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and storage
• Design and implement data models to support data analytics and reporting requirements
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to build scalable and robust data architectures
• Implement data security and governance protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data platforms, data pipelines, and data quality
• Provide technical guidance and training to clients and team members on data platform best practices
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop advanced data solutions and insights
• Act as a subject matter expert for data platforms and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data management, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
