Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems within our facilities. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of all facilities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Respond to and resolve any facility-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, including the use of various hand and power tools.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the continuous and proper functioning of all equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement improvements for facility operations.
• Assist with the coordination and supervision of outside contractors for larger projects.
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when necessary.
