Key Responsibilities: Develop Outreach Strategies: As the Community Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing outreach strategies that target families in need of our services. This will involve researching and identifying key community groups, organizations, and events where we can engage with families. You will also be responsible for creating promotional materials and coordinating outreach events.

Build Relationships: Building strong relationships with community partners, organizations, and families is crucial to the success of this role. You will be the main point of contact for all outreach activities and will need to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. This will involve attending community meetings, networking events, and collaborating with other organizations to increase our reach and impact.

Conduct Presentations: As the face of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting presentations to various groups and organizations to educate them about our services and how we can support families in need. This will involve creating and delivering engaging presentations that effectively communicate our mission and impact.

Engage with Families: A key aspect of this role will be directly engaging with families in need. This may involve conducting home visits, attending community events, and reaching out via phone or email. You will need to have a compassionate and empathetic approach to connect with families and understand their needs.

Data Collection and Reporting: Tracking and reporting on outreach activities and their impact is essential to this role. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all outreach activities and collecting data to measure the effectiveness of our strategies. This information will be used to make data-driven decisions and improve our outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, community development, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach or social services
• Strong understanding of community needs and resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data collection tools
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards families in need
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
