Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediation sessions
Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and defense arguments
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal issues
Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients
Attend client meetings and maintain communication with clients throughout the legal process
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and share knowledge and resources
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases and advise accordingly
Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
Represent the firm and its clients in a professional and ethical manner at all times

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in CA
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in Law Practice
Excellent knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in legal research and case management software
Upholds the highest level of ethical standards and maintains client confidentiality at all times
