Position Title: Structural Engineer

Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and construction, along with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop structural design solutions for various projects
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans and drawings for structural components
• Perform calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and safety of all designs
• Review and approve construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project progress
• Manage and oversee the work of junior engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy and efficiency in design and construction processes
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve design processes and techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and construction
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, building codes, and regulations
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
