About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new products, as well as improving existing products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers to bring innovative ideas to life and ensure the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products from concept to production, utilizing the latest technologies and design principles
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand user needs and market trends
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for prototypes and final products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet functional, aesthetic, and budget requirements
• Conduct prototype testing and make necessary modifications to ensure product performance and reliability
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records of the design process
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and integrate new technologies into product designs
• Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality materials and components for production
• Ensure products comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Support the manufacturing process by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting product issues
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product designs
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards for product design
• Ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table
