Position: Network Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our company's network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures
- Perform network upgrades and updates as needed to keep up with emerging technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams
- Manage network documentation and keep it up-to-date
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies in a timely manner
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance network performance and security
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are preferred
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and services
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
