Job Overview: As a Sustainability Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainability education and awareness within organizations. You will work closely with our clients to design and implement sustainability education programs that align with their values and goals. Your expertise in sustainability and education will be key in driving positive change and creating a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability goals and develop tailored education programs to support their objectives
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest sustainability trends, best practices, and regulations to inform program development
• Design and deliver engaging sustainability education workshops, seminars, and training sessions for employees, management, and stakeholders
• Create educational materials such as presentations, handouts, and online resources to supplement in-person training sessions
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs through surveys, feedback, and other evaluation methods
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the impact of sustainability education initiatives
• Develop partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and other organizations to expand the reach and impact of our sustainability education programs
• Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability, providing guidance and support to clients and colleagues
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and attend conferences, workshops, and networking events to broaden your knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, education, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in sustainability education or a similar role
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
• Experience in program design and development, preferably in a sustainability context
• Proven experience in delivering engaging and interactive training sessions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve problems
• Passion for sustainability and a strong commitment to creating positive change
