Job Overview: As a Dairy Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products. You will be responsible for conducting various tests and inspections to identify any potential issues and ensure that our products meet regulatory and company standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine quality control tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products
Analyze and interpret test results and make recommendations for corrective actions if needed
Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests and inspections
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of laboratory equipment
Communicate any quality control issues or concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager
Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve quality control issues
Stay current on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all food safety standards
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality control process

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control in the food production industry
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced production environment that operates 24/7
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and move up to 50 lbs
