Position: Package Handler

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of packages to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to process and sort incoming packages, as well as load and unload delivery trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and scan incoming packages using handheld scanners
• Sort packages according to destination and delivery route
• Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment
• Inspect packages for damage or compliance with shipping regulations
• Maintain accurate records of packages received and delivered
• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds
• Proficient in using handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings and weekends if needed
