Key Responsibilities:

Develop and create designs for our clothing line, including apparel, accessories, and footwear
Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, styles, and techniques
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences
Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal collections that align with the brand's vision
Create sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings for each design
Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments for each design
Oversee the production process to ensure quality and timely delivery of designs
Work closely with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for production
Attend fashion shows and trade events to gather inspiration and stay updated with industry trends
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for promoting and selling designs
Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers and interns
Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and standards
Maintain a keen eye for detail and strive for perfection in every design

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
At least 3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of designs and techniques
In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, design principles, and garment construction
Proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong time management and organizational skills
Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends
Experience in managing a team is a plus
