We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Kiln Operator. As the Kiln Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining our kilns to ensure the production of quality glass and ceramic products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and adjust the temperature, speed, and timing of kilns to ensure proper firing
• Load and unload kilns with glass and ceramic products using specialized equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kilns to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the firing process
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals are met
• Keep accurate records of kiln operations and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Kiln Operator in the Glass and Ceramics industry
• Strong understanding of kiln operations and firing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and diagrams
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
