Job Title: Fine Art Consultant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Fine Art Consultant to join our team. As a Fine Art Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the process of purchasing and collecting fine art pieces. This role requires a strong understanding of the art market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for art.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their art preferences and budget.
• Advise clients on the selection and purchase of fine art pieces based on their individual tastes and needs.
• Conduct thorough research on artists, artworks, and art market trends to provide valuable insights to clients.
• Collaborate with galleries, auction houses, and other art institutions to source and acquire artworks for clients.
• Negotiate prices and handle transactions between clients and sellers.
• Organize and manage private viewings and art events for clients.
• Provide expert knowledge on the value, authenticity, and condition of artworks.
• Create and maintain a database of clients and their art collections.
• Stay updated on industry news, market trends, and new artists to expand knowledge and expertise.
• Travel to various art fairs, exhibitions, and galleries to stay current with the art market and expand network.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the art industry, preferably as an art consultant or advisor.
• Strong understanding of the art market, including current trends, pricing, and valuation methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
• Proven track record of successful sales and client management.
• Proficient in art research and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and travel as needed.
• Passion for art and a strong eye for aesthetics.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
