Job Title: Azure Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Engineer to join our team. As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure architecture, automation, and troubleshooting, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Work closely with development and operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into cloud solutions
• Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Automate deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources using PowerShell, ARM templates, and other automation tools
• Ensure the security of our cloud environment by implementing best practices and security controls
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and availability issues in the Azure environment
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions and resolve issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Azure technologies and make recommendations for process improvements
• Document processes and procedures for the Azure infrastructure and provide training to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Azure Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, and other automation tools
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, and Network Security Groups
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Experience with Azure security controls, including Azure Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control, and Key Vault
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
