Job Title: Furniture Designer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Furniture Designer to join our team. As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new furniture products that align with the company's vision and brand aesthetic. You will work closely with other designers, engineers, and manufacturers to bring your designs to life. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team, engineers, and manufacturers to develop innovative furniture designs that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective
• Conduct thorough research on market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to inform design decisions
• Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of furniture designs, using both traditional and digital tools
• Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards
• Oversee the production process, providing guidance and support to manufacturers to ensure that designs are accurately translated into final products
• Stay updated on industry developments, new materials, and emerging trends to continuously improve design concepts and processes
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging product presentations and marketing materials
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines and quality standards are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in furniture design, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of furniture designs, including sketches, 3D models, and final products
• Proficient in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Passion for design and a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application in furniture design is a plus
