Job Title: Educational Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Educational Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Educational Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing technology-based solutions to enhance the learning experience for students and educators. You will be responsible for the planning, designing, and implementation of technology programs and initiatives to support our educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to identify technology needs and develop strategies to integrate technology into the curriculum.
• Develop and implement technology-based solutions to enhance the teaching and learning experience, including selecting appropriate hardware and software, designing and delivering training programs, and providing ongoing support.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for use in the classroom.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Manage and maintain all technology equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Create and maintain documentation and training materials to support the use of technology in the classroom.
• Train and support teachers in using various educational technology tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure that all technology systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and up-to-date.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology programs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and negotiate contracts for the purchase of hardware, software, and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of educational technology tools and platforms, such as learning management systems, online collaboration tools, and educational software.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
