About the Role: Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail? Do you have a proven track record of driving sales and managing a successful team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Store Manager.As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Sports & Sporting Goods Stores store. You will be the driving force behind our sales and customer service goals, ensuring that our store delivers exceptional experiences for our customers. You will also be responsible for managing and developing a team of sales associates to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve store targets
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking necessary actions
• Train and develop sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper merchandising and stock levels are maintained
• Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Create and maintain schedules for store staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
• Manage store expenses and budget, making cost-effective decisions to maximize profitability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, making recommendations for improvements to stay ahead of the competition
• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing and organized store environment
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new store staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members
• Handle any HR-related issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Sports & Sporting Goods Stores industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• Strong understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
