Job Title: Curriculum Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong background in curriculum development and implementation. As a Curriculum Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of our students and aligns with our educational goals. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our students and aligns with our educational goals
• Research and evaluate existing curriculum materials and make recommendations for improvements or updates
• Develop and maintain a curriculum calendar to ensure timely completion of all curriculum-related tasks and projects
• Work closely with teachers to provide support and resources for effective curriculum delivery
• Facilitate professional development workshops for teachers to improve their understanding and implementation of the curriculum
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the curriculum through data analysis and feedback from teachers, students, and parents
• Make recommendations for curriculum adjustments and improvements based on data and feedback
• Collaborate with other curriculum coordinators across different departments to ensure consistency and alignment of curriculum across all grade levels
• Keep up-to-date with the latest educational trends and research to continuously improve our curriculum and instructional practices
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to bring in additional resources and materials to enhance the curriculum
• Create and maintain curriculum documentation, including lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
• Train and support new teachers on curriculum implementation and instructional strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development and implementation
• Experience in project management and leadership roles
• Strong understanding of educational theories and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in data analysis and using data to inform decision-making
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Familiarity with different teaching methodologies and instructional strategies
• Passion for education and commitment to continuous improvement
